We've Arrived

We have arrived safely in Suphanburi after a bus ride from Bangkok and a flight from Toyko and a flight from Chicago and a bus ride from Madison. What a long trip but definitely worth it. Hopefully we'll all post soon with pictures of the travels although right now the internet access is limited.

We have been tracking you guys in my classes - all day on Tuesday and Wednesday we were wondering and guessing where and what you were doing!! We looked at a photo (from the Material World book for those who know it) of a Thai family and talked at length about what you guys will be seeing and experiencing!!
Good Luck and We love and miss you all!!

Hello Thai Travelers!

We know you'll be busy, but do your best to keep us up to date. Don't forget pictures and short stories AND if you would please send brief clips, I plan to share them with the student body on the 25th in an assembly.

Have a great time and be good embassadors! :)

Greetings! Hope you all are enjoying yourselves and having lots of great experiences. Can't wait to hear and see more of what you have been up to. First block comments how quiet it has been...not sure why?

Best Wishes and safe travel!

I'm very excited for all of you to have this experience. What an opportunity to see the world outside LHS, WI, and the US. Try to keep a journal of your experiences...that makes great material to use for your college application essays! I eagerly check the blog each day to see your updates. What do you think of the food? What's the most unusual thing you've learned about Thai culture so far? What is school like?

I am so excited for all of you. I want to know about the people, the scenery, the food, the music....okay, I'm a little too excited, but you get the idea. I want to see Thailand through your eyes, so make sure you take lots of pictures, videos and keep journals. Take it from me, and I've travelled a lot, document everything.
Take care, have fun and enjoy all Thailand has to offer.
